The History of Ebertfest

Since 1999, Champaign-Urbana has hosted what was once called Roger Ebert’s Overlooked Film Festival but now is known primarily as just Ebertfest. The annual event is a highlight for movie lovers in the Midwest, a chance to see films loved by Roger and the staff who has kept up his legacy since his passing. What follows is a collection of reviews, most of them by Roger, of films that have played Ebertfest since 1999.
